Just term 1 for now! And wait until your classes start before buying your books

I personally would wait until I go to my first class for the course to see what the professor says (so hold off on the term 2 books), but you CAN buy term 2 books now if you would like. For certain courses though (first year biology, for example) they sell the two textbooks that you need for bio as a package together which is cheaper than buying each of the books separately. In that case, if you know you'll definitely be taking both bio courses why wouldn't you buy the package to save you some money? It really depends on the course, your certainty of taking the course once term 2 rolls around and what your prof tells you regarding course material.

Buy whatever you want, but only Term 1 is advised.

Actually, for 1st year bio, there's only a $4 difference between buying the volumes separately and together, and each comes with a writing guide...so, if you buy them separately and then sell back the extra writing guide to Titles, you actually save more money that way (or so I heard...I haven't actually done the math myself).

Also, most 2nd term books aren't stocked at Titles right now, unless it's for a course offered both terms or the book is used in first term for another course. They only have a limited amount of space, can you imagine trying to fit in all of the books for both terms?!

Valid point and I didn't know that about the bio books! I think I was actually thinking more of buying from upper year students as opposed to just Titles because I know there's no way Titles could carry everything for first year right now. I know upper year students are eager to get rid of their books at the beginning of the year so they don't have to go through the hassle at the beginning of next term as well so that was my logic behind my reasoning lol
