Textbook for chem 2e03/2oa3
I was wondering if anyone who took the class this year could tell me the book name/edition. And apparently there's a kit thing, is it necessary? My friend is selling some orgo stuff but he took the course like 2 years ago.

New textbook is titled 'David Klein organic Chemistry.' It is a good book. i prefer it over the lecture slides that they post since their slides are mostly full of questions that the textbook answers and diagrams which the textbook also has and explains. The kit, in my opinion, is not needed for 2A03. I think when you get into the course and the chapters that the kit could be helpful on that you should decide for yourself if you need it to help visualize certain molecules.

^Oh yea, most people also have the pdf version of the book and you can also buy the textbook that has the removable pages which is much cheaper.

I probably wouldnt have survived orgo without the model kit. It just helps you to "flip molecules in space" if you're not good at doing it in your head. I know a lot of people who don't use it but still do well. I guess it depends on whether you can think in 3D or not.
