Textbooks not posted at Titles
If my professor hasn't posted any textbooks for my course or even posted the course onto the titles website by now, what are the chances that I will show up first day and be told that a textbook is required ? I have looked up the course (Geog 2EI3) and apparently in past years there has been a textbook. However it seems rather late for a prof to be posting textbook requirements, though I could be wrong. Thanks in advance.

Just solved my own problem. Its cross listed with another course except it doesn't say that on the bookstore website or even acknowledge that Geog 2EI3 exists. The text book requirements are listed under Enviro Sci 2EI3 which is at the exact same time and place as Geog 2EI3. Silly Titles

GEOG 2E13 - missing in action
Hi - sorry for the frustration - I am having the buyers check in the morning to see if this is a problem with the way this one course is listed in our system or something bigger.

Please let us know if you see any other weirdness and we will do our best to fix it asap.

I'll have an answer in the morning.

Anyone else? Don't think twice about piping up - I could use your input good, bad or ugly

Since I don't feel like making another thread, who's responsible for 'upgrading' the new titles website (specifically the macmicro part)?

Protip: Finish the website and then implement it. Don't just upgrade the one people are using while still working on it. Several links (such as store hours) are broken, and a lot of textbooks are missing from the new textbook finding system.

Also,

Protip 2: Spell check...

I understand your frustration but there were a lot of factors that went into the decision to launch at this time, in this state that you may not be aware of. We are doing our best to get everything up and running smoothly as quickly as we can.

Isn't that a second term course? There is definitely NOT enough room to hold books for both terms at once, not to mention that sometimes profs for second-term courses haven't been hired yet, or haven't decided what book they're using. You should only be looking for first-term courses now.

If it's a first-term course, than ignore that I seem to remember it being second term, though.

nerual is right - it's a term 2 course if this is the one you're talking about: https://adweb.cis.mcmaster.ca /mtt/... =1BB3&t=2&d=D

We don't post term 2 until closer to the end of the semester... most professors won't have adopted (requested) the books yet.
