I had a quick question and if anyone has had experience with this in the past, any input would be appreciated.



Will having a TFSA account affect my osap in any way?
It's declared income and leftover tuition money anyway.

The financial aid office at Mac said this shouldn't really be an issue but I'm still a bit uneasy and I don't want to get screwed over by OSAP next year because of this.

You have to declare savings and such each OSAP application. More money you have is less money they'll give you. Your best bet is to hide it under your mattress, say you don't have it, don't declare it, so you'll get to have it plus whatever OSAP gives you.
