Is there any way to find out who your T.A. is if the prof hasn't posted it, and ignored the question when you emailed them to ask? (I was sick for the first tutorial and then class got cancelled w/ tutorial this week) We have an assignment due on Monday that we got in lecture last week, and as I missed the lecture/tutorial because I was sick I have some questions about it that I wanted to ask my T.A.

Could you not ask anyone in your class that has the same tutorial section? It really seems like an easy problem to solve on your own lol

If your class is on Avenue you could check to see if the TAs show up under the classlist

So like I said, the prof did not post the info anywhere, not on the syllabus, not on avenue, not in any documents. Also unless I send out a mass email to the entire class I can't find out who is in my tutorial because as I said I missed the first one and the second one was cancelled. Its an evening class so my tutorial is right before lecture on Mondays, and I also don't know anyone in my class. I emailed the prof to ask and they ignored the question.

Also to clarify that includes the classlist on avenue, even under the instructors and t.a. section.

it seems like you're actually the one being really lazy/ rude. So, let me clarify the time line and spell it out for you. The class is an evening class so its only once a week on Mondays, tutorial is right before the lecture. I missed the first tutorial due to illness, the second one was cancelled and the assignment I need to ask my T.A. about is due this Monday in tutorial before lecture. So your solution is for me to wait until after tutorial when my paper is due to ask people in lecture who my t.a. is that I would have just met in tutorial that was before lecture.

If you don't want to offer actual or constructive help, you can just choose not to reply.

just go to the home department that the course is offered out of. There is usually an undergraduate secretary. The secretary will be able to tell you.

I would try e-mailing your professor again to ask them your questions directly. Usually the prof will know more about the assignments to answer your question. Another thing you could try is posting your questions in the forum here under academics or go on facebook and search your course code to try and find facebook groups of students in your class

This is something you should do for all your courses. Very helpful.
