Same as above. I've got 3 midterms in 3 hours pretty much I'm not sure if I'm even allowed to change this. Anyone know?

Yeah I've thought about that that is like worst-case scenario I'd rather not but then this many can make or break your term literally.

nope no such thing. there is such a limit on exams but there are also a few conditions that need to be met in order to do something about it.
for midterms you can MSAF one of them, but then you loose your one and only MSAF of the year, or you can just go in and do them all.
most of these are probably in class which isnt bad, and it isnt all that rare either. My second year was killer in that all my mid terms fell on the same date multiple times. you just need to learn to handle them.
there are cases though where if most of the class, or your year lets say, is taking those 3 courses then if everyone tells their profs about that then the profs may consider changing the dates. this is what happened last year where most of students in one of my classes were also taking another 2 courses, all of which had mids on the same date, so the prof decided to move ours to the next week.

you can ask the prof if there is a late/early write... for one of my courses in the past the midterm would fall during one of my class times and the associate dean office made arrangements with the prof to allow me and a few others to do the test on an alternate date/time

That was due to a conflict though...in this case there is no conflict.
It sucks, but in most cases you'll just have to deal with it.

if it is really back to back, you may be late to one. see if you can ask for early/late write. What courses are these?

If there are no conflicts, its fair game. I think I have had 2 or 3 midterms the same day, and as long as you are prepared it is not too bad.

It is possible to have only ONE test/exam per day, AND it's also possible to obtain extra time to complete these tests/exams (as much as 2x the regular time).
The process is a bit complicated though...your going to need some kind of learning disability (ADHD, Asbergers, anxiety, etc) and a psycho-educational assessment documenting this disability.

I believe for exams they will change it if you have three. Talk to your programs office and see what they can do for you! (or speak with your prof's!)

That's something for people who legitimately have those problems, to level the playing field...not just because you don't want to write three in one day.

Thank you starfish. People who use SAS are not trying to game the system. It is for students with any type of disability, but it requires medical documentation. The process involves also meeting with a co-ordinator to determine which accommodations are necessary.
