I love most things RTS...

But honestly, if you want a nice time waster that you can spend 10 or 15 minutes on between readings or whatever, the answer is N-GAME!

Age of Empires is epic. As are Empire Earth, and Empires: Dawn of the Modern World. Awesome.

I just started playing a new RTS game called Caesary. It's a pretty good because it can be either an idling game or you can continuously change things.

That reminds me, I have to replay those sometime. I never got around to finishing them for some reason.

Last year, I spent most of my exam studying time playing through Fallout 1 and 2. That took up way too much of my nights but I think it was worth it. Great games.

League of Legends (LoL) FTW!!!
Standalone version of DotA but more user friendly with an easier learning curve. Made from one of the creators of DotA

Final Fantasy 7 on PC was definitely one of my best rewards on DC++
Torchlight is great as well - and Baldur's Gate 2. Haha, DC++ = RPGs galore.

Civilizations IV. End of story. You can spend 10 hours playing and not realize even one hour has passed. "Just one more turn"...Biggest time waster ever...
