timetable problem!!
I need 3 more elective units to complete my requirments but so far it conflicts with every course.
Can I take it during the summer? If I can, how?

Yes you can, the summer master time table is released in March I believe. Then you register for courses the same way as for fall/winter. The SOLAR opening day hasn't been released yet though.

also~it won't affect me of going into second year right? and usually when is the summer school take place in? in mcmaster?

I don't think they take summer school courses into consideration for second year programs. Since it's an elective it should matter, as long as you meet the requirements for the program(s) in question.

so if I take summer school which makes up to the requirement of 30units then I'm good right?

Yes, just make sure you meet all the requirements for second year programs.

I don't know what program you are applying for but when I talked to an academic advisor they said I could be a few units short and I would still be ok.
