timetable review? + general questions
Alright so, on the first day of school, I only have physics. I've been told the first class is usually just going over the course outline, textbooks required etc. so will each first class of every course cover this, even if they're not on thursday? (may seem obvious but I'm asking just in case xD)

And, would you recommend I get a locker? I live at home so I have to commute to mac.. I'm wondering what I'll do with my coat/umbrella once I get to school. What are the rates for renting lockers?/best possible places?

and last but not least, could someone please look over my schedule? I think everything's okay, but I do plan to move my early morning math in term 1 and my early morning chem lab in term 2, but I thought maybe it'd be nice to have an opinion from another view.

Not all courses are like that on the first day. Some courses actually start reviewing and doing some introductory.

You can just carry your coat/umbrella around. Chances are you're going to be moving around outside anyways.

Your timetable looks like a normal schedule for a first year. Not a big fan of 4 hours in a row, but that's not for me to decide. It's whatever you prefer to have.

Hey!
Just my opinion on your first semester schedule:
I know you're commuting so it'll be quite the effort to make it to an 8:30am class, but I believe Lovric is teaching MATH 1LS3 C01 and he is AMAZING! I don't know about the other prof that they currently have listed but Lovric was one of my favourites.
I also wouldn't recommend having a lab Friday afternoon because first year midterms generally tend to be Friday nights. I know most people liked to have their Friday afternoons free to do some last minute studying, go over things with other people or just relax before having to write their midterm.
It's totally up to you what you want to do though. Hope MUGSI and SOLAR are nice to you

A locker might be helpful, but not for your coat/umbrella (as jhan523 has explained). You could probably store your lab stuff there or if you choose to study at school, you can bring your textbooks in the morning, drop them off in your locker so you don't have to lug them around everywhere, and pick them up again when you want to study, for example during your breaks or something.

Full-sized lockers are $25 for September to April. I believe the half-sized lockers are only $12.50 for the same duration of time. Titles takes care of the renting. The best place for you would probably be BSB (half lockers only though) or maybe in TSH (close to the Student Centre).
