Is this the definite list for Fall 2011/Spring 2012 books? Is there a chance that in the first few days of classes, profs might have updated/tweaked the book list (i.e. asking for newer editions), or can we go ahead and buy these already?

It's always best to wait until the first week of classes before buying a textbook. You can ask your prof or t.a. if the textbook is even needed. Like for Econ 1B03 it says the textbook is required but you don't even need it in that class apparently according to people.

Honestly, even if they do change the book to a "new" edition, the books will be 95% the same. In all my experience, I would *never* buy the newest textbook edition (unless it was the only one available. Do yourself a favor, buy the older ones and save money
