I'm thinking of transferring from McMaster to UofT next year or so, but I just want some more insight on it and everything. Who can I talk to for that? Would I just have to go to the registrar's office and ask around.

I don't think the university would help you switch to another university... I'm just assuming. Maybe try talking to U of T?

Have you tried looking on both school websites?

Someone told me that you enroll out of another school and then into the other. But you should check the Registrar.

You could also try talking to an academic advisor - they could probably at least help you with what courses you'll need to take again at U of T.

Personal problems at home has made it nearly impossible for me to continue studying at Mac. I kinda have to consider looking into closer schools. It's not my choice anymore :(

Ignore all the comments, they just love McMaster too much . But anyway, I know someone who switched from Mac to U of T after first year. Talk to an academic advisor for sure, then be sure to talk to the Registrar's office. I'm fairly certain that they take care of that but I'm not 100% sure. I'll ask my friend for you though and let you know if there's anything different! Best of luck!

No problem! Oh no, I totally understand. And hey, you'd be one of those people who've had an experience at both , definitely a plus in deciding where to go if you decide to go to grad school .All the best
