Only one night a year do households expect their dinner hour to be interrupted in order to distribute free and edible items to all who ask. Trick or Eat puts a new spin on Halloween as costumed youth canvass their neighbourhoods collecting food for local social service agencies. At the same time, students raise awareness about local hunger and volunteer opportunities that allow their neighbours to get involved in addressing hunger.
Last year more than 250 McMaster students participated and raised $8,824.40 worth of food!
Three hours and a costume is all that is required to make a huge difference in your community!
Where: 1280 and the Westdale community.
When: 3:30pm-6:30pm Saturday October 31st
