Tutorial & Lab Preferences?
Hey, I was wondering if you can always get the desired tutorial & lab sections/slots (provided they don't coincide with your core). I've used to Master Timetable to make my mock timetable with all the cores and required labs/tutorials. However, do they ever get full and thus leaving you to choose another time slot?

Is it a common issue, or do you usually get your desired options?

Thanks in advance.

Depends on the courses, but usually they fill up pretty quick

I'd say it's a common issue. I've certainly experienced it a couple of times. Be sure to have some backups, and to know which tutorials/labs would fit in a pinch, and which wouldn't.

There's no guarantee that you'll get your top choice, especially if it doesn't conflict with a required course core or something. Just keep trying when timetables come out and hope for the best! But it wouldn't hurt to have some back-up sections just in case!

When solar closes for sectioning in august it generates your timetable and places you randomly in whatever lab/tut will fit into your schedule.
Then when it re-opens again, you can move your lab/tut sections around, but the one you want might be full.

I appreciate the prompt responses, I'll be sure to have some back up options. Thanks once again.
