Three big events this weekend!

Via McMaster Athletics & Recreation:

This is a busy week in McMaster Athletics. There are three events this weekend, that we wanted to make you aware of. They are:

Men's Rugby

The McMaster Men's Rugby team has advanced to the OUA Championship. The McMaster Men's Rugby team has captured the OUA Championship in 4 of the past 6 seasons.

McMaster Athletics and Recreation and the McMaster Men's Rugby team are organizing a bus trip to Fletcher's fields in Markham, Ontario, the site of the OUA Championship.

Tickets are $10.00 for students and include a ticket to the game and a return bus trip. Tickets to the game can be purchased for $5.00.

Tickets will be available in the Business Office in the David Braley Athletic Centre beginning tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12:00 Noon.

The bus will depart from the front of the Ivor Wynne Centre, Saturday November 8, 2008 at 12:00 Noon. The game will begin at 2:00 P.M.

McMaster Volleyball

The McMaster women's and men's volleyball team both have key games this Saturday November 8, 2008 at the Burridge Gymnasium.

At 1:00 P.M., the defending OUA Champion McMaster women's team take on the OUA East's first place team, the University of Ottawa.

At 3:00 P.M., the nationally #2 ranked, McMaster men's team will face arch-rival Queen's university.

Tickets are available beginning at 12:00 Noon in the Ivor Wynne Centre mezzanine.

Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association Baggataway Cup Championship

This weekend, McMaster will host the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association Baggataway Cup Championship at Ron Joyce Stadium.

The schedule is as follows:

Saturday November 8, 2008.
National Semi-Finals
12:00 Noon - Brock vs. McGill
2:30 P.M. - Guelph vs. Trent

Sunday November 9, 2008.
National Championship Game
1:00 P.M.

Tickets are available at the David Braley Athletic Centre Business office, or on the day of the game at Ron Joyce Stadium.
