Urgent - Two deferrals in one term?
Hi,

I was really sick this morning and could not attend my exam. I thought I would be better but I still feel very sick and I have another exam next morning (9am). If it was something small like a fever I could pull through, but I am sick to the point where I am vomiting and its difficult to walk because of sharp pains in my stomach and legs.

I was wondering what is the procedure/chances of getting a deferral of two exams in one term? Of course, I will be getting a doctors note as well.

Also I emailed the Associate dean of my faculty just now but I dont think she will respond at this time. But if I wait for her response and miss my exam...... I am not sure what will happen.

Why would getting two deferrals be different than getting one? Especially when they are like a day apart? If anything, it would be suspicious to missed one and somehow recover for the one the day after.

You are stressing too much over this. As long as you have a valid medical reason and proper documentation to back it up, you have nothing to be afraid of. You have legal right to force the University to bend its knees and give you satisfaction.

If you defer more than one exam, the university may restrict the number of courses that you can take in the term where the deferred exams are being written - it says this on the form. This only matters if you were planning on taking summer courses.
