Video software programs for first time users
Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding to those who have experiences using video software programs like Adobe premiere. I have a PC, and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good programs for video editing that is geared towards first time users. I was hoping for something very simplistic, user-friendly, and easy to use but also has a lot of features and editing components.

What kind of video editing are you looking to do?

Windows Movie Maker works just fine for starting off.

I used to use Video Edit Magic, which was a very simple editor that did very basic editing. Check it out

Sony Vegas - it's way more useful than, say, WMM, but also not as complicated as Premiere or anything like that.

Sony Vegas is by far the best software Ive used for PC. Has as many features as Premier and more in many cases (i have the professional version). Stay away from movie maker. they've moved away from the timeline which is a huge pain.
