Volunteer with Mac Skills Wanted!
Mac computer skills support required for adult male with aquired brain injury in Central Hamilton. Position involves teaching the client to move with some comfort within a Mac OS and also to help the client develop their own printed resource with password prompts and instructions etc. so that they can move toward successful independent use of the computer.

BIS volunteer postings provide excellent skill-building opportunities in areas such as: collaborative problem solving; limit setting; de-escalation; and rapport-building. This type of hands-on experience looks GREAT on resume! :-)

Applicants must have good social skills, aptitude for positive role-modeling and an ability to engage and motivate others. A police check will be required. (If there is a fee involved we will reimburse after 20 hours are donated.) Mandatory online training.

Contact Lian Ellis, Coordinator Volunteer Services [email protected] vices.com or visit our web site http://www.braininjuryservic es.com/volunteers for more info.
