unfortunately, i am not sure of the answers to most of your questions.
what i do know: there is a phone for each person in the room.
what i am unsure about:
the quad rooms in woodstock have four bunk and loft beds. those are the only quads i have seen, so i sort of assume the ones in Wally would be set up in the same fashion.
additionally, i assume there are washrooms on each floor; but i don't know if they are individual or stall-type.

I haven't been in Wallingford Hall either, but there will definitely be washrooms on each floor in a common area.

yup, more than one fridge in a room is fine.
Since they are small, I would really suggest that each person has their own; or it is split between two people. Any more than that means you're not going to have a whole lot of stuff in your fridge.

Wally's Quad is one room with (4) single beds. It is not a bunk and loft style. THere are large communal washrooms on each floor with about 5 washroom stalls, approx. 2-3 shower stalls and bathtub stalls., 5-6 sinks. window view of the Quad is gorgeous. I've been in it.

Well, apparently the quad rooms differ from res to res...so I was incorrect!
Thanks for the correction, lombard!

On Welcome Day, all of the residences have open rooms to be viewed. That being said, you are not allowed to visit your SPECIFIC room. That is far too chaotic to be handled properly for staff and volunteers. However, the rooms that are available for viewing will give you a good idea of what your specific room will look like.
As for what to bring to residence...stay tuned for an article. I'll have one up within the next week or so.

It's up to you. Welcome Week officially starts September 1st when move-in starts. It is advisable to stay until classes start and beyond so you can get to know your roommate, floormates, res mates, the campus as a whole, classmates, the area around mcmaster etc etc.

I'm not sure. In years past they would try to open more than one type of room, but it doesn't always happen.
