Submerge your feet in a bucket with cold water while studying. Trust me, it works. Easy, cheap, and highly effective. No need to abuse your body with those energy drinks and drugs.

Yes, I am. Try it. Don't use freezing water though. Just a tad cold should do the trick.

do an intense workout...I am usually awake after that. Highly suggest the water thing too-I always drink lots of water and it keeps me awake at night.

What do tic tacs do?
I'm pretty sure I've got my own foolproof method: eat cereal with milk. I'm gonna have cramps all night, lolol.

Energy drinks! That's what I've been doing the past two days - coffee and tea just don't work for me. Try not to drink the whole energy drink at once like juice though (haha, I did). What worked best for me was drinking a little bit whenever I felt like I was just gonna stop working.. and it kept me going. I suggest getting at least an hour of sleep though. Sleep is good. : )

coffee, water, tea, energy drink ...
pick one, or all. Usually I either have cravings for something warm (Coffee or tea) or something cold and refreshing (energy drink or pop) when I study and try to stay awake.
Also a lot of these things could just be placebo too. So its up to you too, your mental strength. (is that the right term? =\ i think u get my idea).
ps. im also going to have a longggggg night tonight ... then I have a 830 class tmrw which I have to be up earlier since I commute then my test is at 7pm ... so its going ot be a long ass day in the library ... hopefully I dont fall asleep.

Dont waste time on perscription drugs, just smoke some crack.
J/k, seriously, dont smoke crack.
In the Canadian Forces, if you are going to fall asleep during a class, instead of bobbing your head up and down for an hour fighting it, they tell you to stand at the back of the room. If you are studying or working through something you need to work out in your head, stand or walk around.
If you decide to take naps, make sure you have a friend their to beat you with a stick if you dont get up. When I just wake up, I am willing to throw away my future for 10 more minutes of sleep.
