As someone who went through every energy drink available at 7/11 in the summer while at work, I can also recommend NOS. It tastes like crap, but I find it gets you more awake than all the others do.
My ranking of energy drinks from best to worst:
1. NOS
2 . (Don't remember what this one is called, but the container looks like a test tube)
3. Rockstar
4. Full throttle (kind of tied with Rockstar)
5. Monster (kind of tied also with Rockstar)
6. Red Bull (most expensive and also the worst)
Those extra huge cans are good too and are about equivalent to NOS.

Like you, caffeine has no effect on me, and neither do those 5 hour drinks. Tried them a few times after sleepless nights followed by 10 hour shifts at work, and they did nothing. I still fell asleep at my desk.

I study in the living room and tell my room mates to slap me whenever i fall asleep... Fear alone keeps you awake after the first few slaps.

Have you considered going back in time and learning some time management skills?

Time travel, much like time management, is yet beyond the grasp of most college students...

What about Jolt and SOBE? I personally love the Pink Banana/Strawberry Sobe; It has a fruit juice type taste(healthyish) compared to the strong carbonized ones you just mentioned.

I agree. This is ridiculous. Your brain needs time to absorb information slowly. 12 chapters in one night? How the heck is that going to stick? You'd be better off sleeping and studying less.
My heart rate goes nuts and my hands start shaking after I have any of those energy drinks. Then I'm up all night and feel like I'm hung over all the next day.

It's ridiculous? Overdramatic much?
Anyways, going out for a nice brisk walk in the freezing cold and BRIGHT lights really helped, so thanks to whoever suggested those. XD Too bad I had to go to school to get bright lights. D: Horrible lighting in our house.
