Welcome Week 2009!

Can we buy the MacPass before WW? and is it even mandatory? Umm.. what else.. How/when/where do we buy it if we get it before school starts? Thanks

mac passes are not mandatory but i'd strongly recommend getting one. You get a bunch of cool stuff, such as your residence shirt, faculty shirt, some good coupons, little items like a umbrella and stuff. Plus the bag itself is a good laundry bag! Not to mention it gets you into all the concerts and other awesome events that will be on during WW. You can buy one before WW starts. You should get a form in the mail along with everything else.

You can buy it now. The earlier you buy it the more money they will have to spend on swag! So you can get cooler things!
You get pick it up between September 5th and September 8th.

Also, you can pick it up in the Mills Library Plaza. It's the big space with Mills Library, the Student Centre (MUSC) and the art gallery next to it.

Haha yup, I forgot to mention that up there. The theme for Welcome Week is MacWOW (Mac Week Of Welcome) but also a clever modification of the ShamWOW.

I believe you can buy it at Titles. The store is located in the Student Centre, if you are standing in the Mills Plaza you'll see the sign.

Interestingly enough, MacWOW is a throwback to their 2002 Welcome Week, which was known as WOW (Week of Welcome).
I have a feeling that wasn't intentional, though.

I knoooowwwww.... I was so disappointed!
WW is awesome... I love seeing campus come alive for those few days.... and all the inappropriate cheering, and the bed races, and the PJ parade ... dorky I know. I kinda wish I was in first year all over again. |
