#MacWW2012 event: Mac Connector is taking place Sept 3 @ 10:30AM at Alumni Field! MacConnector is designed to help students become more comfortable about connecting to Mac and the people they will be with for the next four years! McMaster Alumni "Andrew Baillie" will lead this 1.5 hour session.

#MacWW2012 event: PJ PARADE is taking place Sept 5 @ 6:00PM in Westdale! One of McMaster's oldest traditions, PJ Parade allows first year students to experience the Westdale community in a fun and creative way. While wearing pyjamas, first year students meet new classmates and are welcomed by upper year students.



#MacWW2012 event: MSU SIDEWALK SALE is taking place Sept 6th @ 10:00AM on the BSB Lawn. The Annual McMaster Welcome Week Sidewalk Sale is back by popular demand for its 17th anniversary. This annual event showcases vendors and businesses in and around Hamilton. Come out and sample all that Sidewalk Sale has to offer.

So is Welcome Week more of a 1st year thing? I kinda want to meet more ppl in my faculty for 2nd year.

Yea it's really just a first year thing...Some second year engineering departments have events at the start of the term so that you can meet other students in your program !
I think last year the ECE department had like a barbeque in September...it's a great way to make new friends !

Absolutely not! Everyone gets involved, and there's plenty of opportunities to meet new people. And if all else fails... there's the MacInsiders Social event to meet people
