Welcome Week Events - Tuesday Sept 3

 
Faculty Day 1 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Get ready for a great day getting to know your faculty and peers! Occurring in various locations on campus, it’s an exciting way to meet your faculty and future classmates. The list of locations we haven't been able to find... anywhere. But we've contacted the Student Success Centre to see if we can get the list. Just show up on campus and ask around to find where your faculty is located!

MSU Faculty Fusion 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Location: Ron Joyce Stadium
Faculty Fusion is a way to bring all of the faculties together at the end of the day to celebrate being McMaster students together!

Author Visit 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Location: The Big White Tent (JHE Field)
Author of The Book of Negroes, Lawrence Hill will be on campus for book a signing and discussion.

SOCS & PJ’s – Off-Campus & Commuter Students 6:30 p.m. – 8 a.m.
Location: Sport Hall – David Braley Athletic Centre (DBAC)
Too excited to go home? Don’t want to miss a thing? Why not just stay for the night? Now you can! On Tues, Sept 3 and Fri, Sept 6 we invite you to join us for a night of games and socializing. Registration required.

MSU Faculty Hollow Concert - TOMMY TRASH 7:30 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Location: Faculty Hollow
Campus Events is proud to announce that Tommy Trash will headline the first concert of Welcome Week with GrandTheft opening for them.

IRC Capture the Flag 8 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Location: Burke Science Building (BSB) Field
This annual tradition features a large game of glow in the dark capture the flag in the centre of campus.
All students in residence and SOCS are welcome to come join!

For science students: We will be sending people to your residence to pick you up and bring you to 10 Acre Field. For SOCS, I believe the MUSC atrium is the pick-up location, but you might want to double-check that.

Humanities and Kin will also be having their Faculty Days at 10 Acre Field, but I don't know what arrangements they've made for picking up students or having them make their own way there.

i've heard it starts at 10, and here and on different schedules it says 1, what time is it at...?
