Welcome Week Reps
So I applied to be a ROR and i was placed on the waiting list (alternate team). has anyone received an offer thus far?? Can i expect to be placed on a team this late in the summer??

You might still get an offer. Welcome Week Reps can drop their positions at any positions. Their plans may change at any time. I believe that reps have been taken off the waiting list a few weeks before Welcome Week.

I'm pretty sure it's too late to receive an offer :/. Maybe just email them just to be sure or even find out your position on the waiting list to see how likely you are to get an offer..

Its not too late to receive an offer, they just keep you on alternate list as long as possible until someone drops their position or if they realize they need more reps for a particular residence.

I got selected off the wait list only a few weeks ago. Its a very real possibility that chosen reps will drop out from now until the weeks leading up to welcome week! Don't worry, the wait is hard but 'm sure you'll be picked!

so has anyone heard anything yet? any new updates of people being accepted off the waitlist...I emailed them quite a few times and no response...

People get accepted off of the waiting list up until the day before Welcome Week (that happened to one of my friends last year) so stay optimistic! I'm not sure if they tell you what spot you're at on the waiting list if you email them, but hopefully you hear some good news soon!

in case anyone else is reading this, i received a response from them and they said that im not part of the Top 20 list but when they have an opening, they try to put people together that will form the strongest team...so i guess i wont be repping this year :( kinda sucks since it was alot of fun last year.
