Hey everyone the McMaster club, MACTV is creating an original sitcom called, "Roomates" (title still not confirmed). This show is about exploring the stereotypes of students, student-relationships, and Mac life in general (in a comedic way).

What were your most best, awkward, or notable moments in residence life (on-campus or off-campus).

If you want to remain anonymous you can always send us an e-mail about your moments at [email protected]

Also check out our web-site at www.mcmastertv.com

I really liked sitting in the halls with my floormates and just talking about anything. There was this perfect spot on the floor, right where the corner was. It was nice and open.

Getting complaints about playing Rock Band.

Also there was this one time where the CAs tried to organize a movie night (I think it was to watch Batman or something). And I was the only one to show up. Since I was the only one there and I've already seen the movie they asked what movie I wanted to watch instead. I chose Rush Hour 3 since I hadn't seen it yet.

It was a terrible movie... But since I was the only person there, I didn't want to leave because it would look bad.

We got like 3 CA's at our door once thinking we were having a party. You should have seen the look on their faces when they saw it was just us playing Halo.

So I did not get along with my roommate in first year. She pretty much ignored me to the point like it seemed I was invisible.

Anywhoo, one of my friends wanted to get something from me that was in my room, and I was too lazy to get it. So I told him to go in. I gave him my keys, he went and got the item and told me that my roommate didn't even acknowledge he came in.

So, he and a bunch of the guys on my floor decided to go into my room and start taking my stuff to see if she'd notice.

First was my computer mouse.

Then was a stack of textbooks.

Then my computer tower.

Then a drawer from my bed (Whidden has/had bunkbeds with drawers build-in).

And the last item...was my mattress with all my bedding and my pillow.

She didn't turn around for any of it. She just kept typing away on her computer.

Omg, I'm speechless. That's just horrible. I mean if you were living together for those 8 months, she should've at least tried to make it work :(

I lived in bates and got along with all of my roommates except one...who enjoyed the Quarters nights very much and enjoyed the bringing home random people afterward very very much. So one of the times, I was up late and after hearing a lot of commotion coming out of her room, I heard her room door open. So out of curiousity, I stuck my head out to see who it was and I see my roommate, completely naked washing her hands at the sink. She saw me, I saw her. She said hi. We have never spoken about this ever.

To this day I can't understand the logic of a guy/girl that goes home with someone they meet at a club, and this is coming from someone who's not especially moral

No one in their right mind would understand that concept, moral or not-so-moral. But then again, that might be just me.

Sex? I'm thinking that's the reason...
