On the res applications site, they listed everyone in my room's email in the same page where they list your roommates (I had 3 roommates in Bates). One of them even emailed me before school started.

Unless it's changed since then... Since I haven't been in res since first year
(or unless there's an option to keep it private, I can't remember)

i got on to the portal and there was an option to message ur roomate, and so i did, but it was private so i couldnt see his email anywehre now i want to know if it went to his email or to mcmaster mail (if there is such a thing?) is there a mac email that uses ur macid ? if so how do u acess itt?

Yes there's a mac email.

It's basically your student ID + @muss.cis.mcmaster.ca (but @mcmaster.ca works too)

just go on Mugsi and click undergraduate email

Don't forget to enable your MacID services. You will also have to wait atleast a day before your e-mail starts to work. If you didn't accept your payment agreement, you won't be able to access your e-mail either since you aren't fully registered.
