What's your favorite software?
So im compiling a list of software (paid and free) that is frequently used by students. The purpose of this is to find good software that our fellow students use and trust, and therefore if anyone is looking for something in particular in the future, you can just direct them to this database and they can find it as well as alternative.

I have started off the list with a few Antivirus and Multimedia software, but I need your help to keep going!

Im going to keep a +1 rating system, so if you see software on there that you like, just follow the steps below like usual, and I will update the database. This way we can spot out the more popular software among students easier.

Steps:
1) Visit http://eceplayground.com/2010/06/20/downloads-database/

2) Copy and paste the following:
Category:
Name:
Link to product:

You should add Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware and Spybot, useful softwares and can't go wrong with em.

Hmm, dropbox, evernote, Cloudapp, F.lux, Skype. Here is a list I made earlier on what I believe to be essential software that university students must have. Feel free to add em to your list: http://www.ravall.com/2010/07/09/university-software/
