I did that after. Then people who were using the desktop were looking for IE. I'd laugh for a bit and then point them toward the Firefox icon.

Lol, yes. I deny the use of IE on my computer! It's EVIL!

To defend the reputation of HealthScis on MacInsiders, I've been using Firefox 3.5 since the beta and release candidates releases.

However, MacConnect still has issues whenever I have Ubiquity activated.

I'm using Google Chrome and all of the buttons at the top are piled on top of each other. Amusing at first, but kind of annoying after a while!

I guess firefox fixes that issue? I'll switch to that then... aww.. I like Chrome.

What do you like about chrome? Chances are you can get the same things through add-ons. My firefox looks like chrome and has slightly more screen space than chrome.

Well, I don't like it for any other reason other than the rounded tops and the blue-ness of it. Oh and the pretty screen when you open it up tabs and it shows my fav links and pictures. It's all very vain. haha.

lol, I'm sure if you looked hard enough you could find the add-ons for those.

i'm a mac user and use safari. i don't seem to ever have problems with it. I've been thinking about switching to firefox just to see what all the hype is about, but never have had a reason to do it as safari seems to work great and fast

Safari for Windows is a lot less developed than Safari for Macs. It tends to just be people who can't be bothered to switch from the default who use it, so they have at least a bit of interest in keeping it good enough to prevent problems that would actually give people a reason to switch. Their share of the PC market is so tiny that they really have no reason to develop it at all.

I used to think FireFox was a pretty cool guy, but as of late releases, it seems to suffer a pretty serious memory leak. It can sometimes use up to a gig of RAM if left open long enough :o

And ya, Apple fails at making software for Windows. Apple Quicktime for windows has got to be one the biggest pieces of garbage ever made; the pro version hasn't been updated in years and half of it's "features" don't actually exist because they were never completed. Stupid software update keeps telling me I need it too...

Apple routers are also annoying as hell to deal with. Apple had the genius move of not making the routers configurable through a web interface and only through a friggin mac computer.
