I'm in Social Sciences (thinking of getting a major in BA psychology)
and I'm taking math 1LS3 right now...
But I'm thinking of cancelling the course before Nov 9...
Am I making a good decision....? :l
ASAP!

I would defintely take Math 1M03 over 1LS3. 1M03 is designed for Social Science and Business students.

Never took Math 1M03, but 1LS3 is pretty easy although a lot of it isn't particularly useful lol...

i have heard 1ls3 is easier. its pretty much high school review of gr 12 calc. 1m03 covers more integration iirc. 1ls3 is pretty much a bird course.

They're both pretty easy, but from the course descriptions I'd say 1M03 is easier.

Math 1ZB3 is the easiest course you can take in university.
Hey Im in the BA Pyschology Neuroscience and behaviour behaviour and I went through the same confusion as you in my first year. TAKE MATH 1LS3. Math is NOT my strongest subject at all, but I was in MATH 1M03- I dropped it and took MATH 1LS3 in the summer- best decision ever. Don't let the course name "math for life science" freak you out, its sooo easy! also Math 1m03 is more for business students, so I personally didn't like the problems in that course.
