Yes, B126 is in the basement, and the room number on the door will be "B126" as well. Keeps things simple that way :p

The furniture in Whidden is mostly fixed in one spot, but it partially depends on whether or not you're in a bunk & loft triple. In them, the bunk beds and loft bed/desk can be moved, but chances are the way you find them when you move in will be the most efficient arrangement. In a regular double or single, the closet and drawers are fixed to the wall, and so are the desks (it's sort of like a counter that wraps around the windows as well). I'm pretty certain that in most rooms the beds can be moved, but due to the arrangement of the other furniture, basically the only option would be to either have them lengthwise against the wall (where they are intended to go) or sticking out into the room with the head of the bed against the wall.

I don't think that you can see your room on Welcome Day. I think show only one random room to everyone. BUT just for your information, I lived in Whidden B126 and yup it is in the basement!

Normally, stuff doesn't get moved around because the way everything is positioned is the most convenient. I'm not too sure about the answer to your question though.

		 Was the room B.A? :O

I heard the basement rooms are pretty convenient due to extra storage goodness.

		 What does B.A mean?

I didn't see many other rooms in the residence but you get used to the size of the room. Plus, you have a view of Cootes Paradise from that room. There is a lot of storage in the room. Three drawers in the desk, 3 drawers under the bed, two cupboards above the closet, a closet, storage behind the mirror, and about 5 drawers.

On Welcome Day you can see options of what a room in your residence will look like: most likely either a double or a triple. But you are not allowed to see your specific res room (unless your room is on display)

The bunk and lofts come with a fridge. I'm pretty sure all of Whidden's triples are in fact bunk and lofts.

Indeed, they are as there is always the bunk and the loft beds in whidden, and not three loft beds.

Can I just say wtf @ the showers in Whidden.

There's nowhere to put your stuff (towel, any clothing or a robe). Usually public showers have like a little section outside the actual shower part to put dry stuff to use after your shower.

Weirdness.

If you point the shower say, left, then just throw your towel over the shower bar/the stone bar part to the right. With you standing in front of the water it shouldn't get too wet and saves you from awkwardness. LOL I'm lazy there's no way I'm going to first to shower when the bathroom is literally across the hall. HAHAHAHAHA.

Also a good tip. There's no girls bathroom in my wing though so the elevator to go to 1st would actually be closer than the bathroom.

That said I was thinking I might just get a bag, put my towel and stuff in there and pull it into the shower once the water is off.
