Go to this site:
http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/cana...1/votecompass/

It asks you a series of questions and tells you which party is closest to your views.

NDP has a clear majority in all 3 Hamilton ridings. So liberals, vote for NDP.

Just voted NDP, I know they are going to win all three Hamilton ridings. I hope they get the most ridings, if only Liberals weren't pulling them back...

My main concern is having someone other than Harper in office, so I voted NDP because they will win in my riding.

I would like to vote Liberal (but it's pointless in my riding).

Layton was about 3% behind Harper last time I checked. I have a good feeling about this. Why? He has the youth vote.

It's nice to see that the majority of the people here have voted for the NDP. Whether a similar trend will be seen in Canada's entire voting population is quite doubtful. Let's hope that the orange wave won't split votes on the left and will take away seats from the Cons. Tomorrow will be an interesting day, that's for sure.

Unfortunately, first-past-the-post isn't a representative system at all. So we'll probably end up having a party with 35% of support (the Conservatives) forming the majority, or a strong minority.

I've read through the NDP's platform, but I don't see how they are going to pay for everything without increasing the deficit. They want to reduce taxes on small businesses, and keep corporate taxes below the US. Does everyone else know something I don't?

Also, I voted for my Conservative MP because he is a boss. He is involved in everything around the community.

NDP is really the only party that cares about education and wants to lower tuition when economy recovers.
Education is a provincial issue. They just want to transfer money into the provincial system. I'm sure the Liberal and Conservative parties are very concerned with education, just at the level of government that traditionally deals with it.

Yeah that's why they almost never mention it...
