Man, what an awesome ending. They did leave a lot of unanswered questions, and I noticed a couple of plotholes, but honestly, whatever. They never said the show was about any of that stuff - only the characters themselves, and so they finished in a way that expressed that viewpoint.

I was pretty disappointed with the ending. For 5 seasons the show was about this island and its mysteries and in the end a LOT of the questions were never answered. It was a great show while it lasted though and I'll miss it.

I loved this ending. It was so much more about the characters than the island after all, and this episode really brought that to the forefront.. all of these relationships were developing while our attention was on something else in the forefront.... very emotional!

So can anyone explain the finale to me? What happens afterwards... they all wake up in the church and forget everything? They 'vanish' and move on? It's the parallel world right... so what was the point of gathering in the church??
