Why are people abusing the "report" button lately?
I'm finding lately when I hit 'submit' after writing epic posts, I find the thread has been deleted, and of course, I cannot recover what I just wrote by pressing 'back'.
I'm also noticing that a lot of replies to threads are being reported, even though they are in no way offensive.
I really hope people aren't doing this just for lulz...

WHat I dont get isnt so much the reporting, but the automatic deletion of any post that gets flagged. Just because someone cries about a post doesnt mean its actually offensive. Mods don't seem to want to look at the post in its context and make a decision, so they just delete it regardless. I PM'd jhan back and forth about it, and basically, thats the way its gonna stay.

Really I think a better system is that when something is reported it needs to be evaluated before being taken down. of course a certain number of reports would be immediate removal, but as it is now you can effectively just troll people through reports if you truly wanted.
