Willy Dog
These brave men and women deserve a review. They sit out there all day and all night, manning the Willy-becue.
I went there recently, and here are my thoughts:
Food:
I've only ever had their hot dog. I never want to get anything else because I can't get over how good it is.
For my toppings I usually choose: ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut and bacon bits. This dog just makes my heart melt and fills me up every time.
Prices:
A quarter or two too much IMHO, but we do live in harsh times and service is good, so I'm Willy-ing to look the other way.
Atmosphere:
What can be better than hot dogs on a barbecue?
Service:
Always curteous and quick, the Willy Dog Stand takes the prize for service.
Overall, I think I will continue to eat Willy dogs till I explode.

I just want to throw out there that the Veggie dogs are quite good. Even if you aren't vegetarian give it a try! You might find you like it better.

I've had the hot sausage and the chicken dog and both are excellent. I highly reccommend them both.
My favourite topping combinations basically all involve mustard!
For the chicken dog sometimes I go the classic ketchup, mustard and relish.
For the hot sausage I like hot mustard (the hot mustard is best condiment ever), saurkraut and bbq chips.
Another favourite is hot mustard, bacon bits and green olives.
Would like the prices for the sausage to be a bit cheaper but I understand they have their costs and are looking to turn a profit.
Protip: If you want to save that extra 50 cents on your lunch go to the Divinity College first and get a 75 can of pop to go with your hot dog instead of the $1.25 ones they have at Willy Dog. More walking required but the machine in the Divinity College has most of the same varities of pop.

My only complaint about Willy Dog is the price. $3 for a hotdog is kind of expensive. In first year, it was only $2. Then it went up 25 cents each year. I've only ever had a regular hot dog - but they are best hot dogs I've ever tasted.

$3 hot dog and $4 sausage aren't expensive at all. Most of the hot dog carts in Toronto are at least $1 more. I have years of experience from going to Blue Jays games. Willy Dog prices are a steal.

Still cant compare to the quality of toronto street meat though. Whenever i go to a Jays game, i will choose a sausage over going to a restaurant every time. Wish i knew where street vendors bought their product!

The veggie dogs really are the only good street 'meat' vegetarian hot dogs I've EVER had.
