Small business owners are a critical part of any city's economic growth and success; the City of Hamilton being no exception to that rule. While the city dedicates many resources to encouraging and developing entrepreneurship, we find that some groups face more obstacles and barriers than others regardless of their ability to create positive change within our city. This is certainly the case with entrepreneurship amongst women and more precisely, immigrant women. This is unfortunate since this population shows the ability to create the type of innovative progress this city needs to drive itself towards higher levels of success.

In support of this community, we have created a series of 4 events directed towards the Women Entrepreneur. These events are meant to inspire, educate, and empower the women in our community, allowing them to escape the constraints of past ideologies, and to embrace the confidence given by successful key women in the Hamilton region.
