York Strike Ends
The 3-month long strike at York will finally come to an end and students will be back to classes on Monday after the provincial government passes legislation forcing the 3,340 contract workers back to work.
The outcome? 3-months of students having no classes, and getting no refund of their tuition money, as well as no big changes happening by the university to meet the demands of the striking workers as there was no voting or successful negotiations during the strike.
