Thing is, I'm going to be very pressed for time because I believe we have to mail in our letters of permission by March 16th, and I don't know if Mac can mail it to York in 2-3 days. Unless the March 16th deadline is only for the online application. I'll probably end up taking an elective there too, to decrease next year's killer courseload. I guess I can find out Monday morning.

So I called york

No need to actually accept offer, just go enrol ( http://www.registrar.yorku.c a/enro.../enrolment.htm)

my account was blocked from enrolling bc i needed an academic advising session ( which on the visiting students site it says we DONT) so I got them to fix that after spending forever on hold.

THEN my course was full... so I had to register for another one and all this crap but not going to get into that.

Basically just go to that link and enrol and pay your 450$

call york and see if they can help you out?

Maybe the fact that your application was in by today is good enough, considering that usually enrollment in courses is open right up until the course starts.

Do you think I can apply after the 16th? The disclaimer for applying after the deadline is a bit odd. They say you can apply after the deadline, but that you may not get into the course that you want to take, but isn't that true in the case of applying before the deadline anyways?

Very true, considering thats what happened to me and I applied super early....

But I dont know about an application in general being after the deadline.. I mean its a deadline...

again, best bet is to call (and wait on hold forever.. but still)
and you probably want to make sure befoer paying that RIDICULOUS $80 application fee..

the email you got said mac will send them out in 4-5 days... how long it takes to get there isnt definite.

But you should give them a call..My name was wrong in their system so I had been accepted but under my original application from grade 12... so it wasnt showing on my Myfile.

When did you apply? I think my advisor mailed in my LOP for me last week and I just mailed the transcript over the weekend... how long did it take for you to receive your application in the mail? It says 4-6 weeks on the website; I'm worried that I will miss the deadline to enroll in courses.
