what are you eating this weekend?
Even larger than the first weekend after the completion of Welcome Week, this weekend is one in which most students go home.
Sooo...what is everyone eating this weekend? Not every family (or every person in said family) eats turkey...so what is everyone having?

My plan is to have pumpkin-stuffed pasta, and turkey sausage (I think I bought some? I'm so confused)...and maybe some pie. If I don't get any pie, the TCBY pumpkin ice cream...
om nom nom...

I heart the sugar-coated pumpkin seed muffins at Timmy's they have every 'orange' season; with the little dollop of icing on top. I love it when they have a bigger dollop especially

I'm going to my GF's parent's place for thanksgiving (for the first time... my GF came to my parents place last year). I've been told to expect a variety of pies, and turnips and turkey... probably other sort of typical thanksgiving foods. I'm excited though!

Tomorrow my aunt's holding a dinner party.
Then Sunday my mom's friend is holding another dinner party.
Then on Monday night my dad says since I won't be spending much time with my grandparents this weekend we're going to be eating dinner with them (probably in a dinner-party-like fashion).
...I'm gonna get so fat... D:

My parents are going to surprise me on Saturday night... But I'm pretty positive that turkey is going to be one of the things on the menu ^-^

Well, my mom is making me come down and pretending like we've actually celebrated turkey day at least once in our lives
So.. who knows. Considering she's a lousy cook, I'm sure it'll be interesting.

Maybe you can get together with other people who had to stay over the Thanksgiving weekend and eat all together tomorrow night. If you don't know who is around just go around and knock on doors. There isn't likely to be a ton of people around so whoever opens their door just ask if they'd like to meet up for dinner.
Bistro is open 4:30-8:30 Sunday nights if you want to eat something, I guess a little fancier than the typical Commons food.
Also I just checked the Hospitality Services website and Bistro is having Thanksgiving specials on Monday.

Stuffing and mashed potatoes. I'm sure I'll eat a bit of some of the other options, but it will mainly be stuffing and mashed potatoes.
Can't wait!
