Would this be smart: Study the new material, and do the calculations on the slide
For the old material: do the past midterms??

I would say that's a good way of studying, it's how I normally study for all my courses.

i think we had like 15 - 20 questions just from the last powerpoint.
Plus there were 8 questions in between based on 1 graph. I think it was on taxation stuff from 2nd midterm.

I'm pretty sure last term there were graphs on the exam. I only studied for it about a day in advance and by studying I mean glancing through her powerpoints. I ended up with a 10 in the course, good enough IMO.
