Also Dr. Dej is an amazing prof ... cuz she can actually teach and explain to us the nitty gritty details with ease.

As goes for Dr. Laura Parker for Origins ... has an amazing way to 'dumb down' stuff for the class, especially for non-science students ...
HOW DARE YOU MANAY??? LOLLL PARKER!!! ya you remember what i said bout her dont you... pssht and dumb down.. it doesnt take a lot for her to do that.. ooo thats right. but ya dejs the best prof ever..

Professor Hatala, from Chem 1A03.
I never had him but I've sat in on a few of his lectures and been there when he was helping students after class.
His enthusiasm and dedication are phenomenal. He loves what he teaches, but he also loves teaching and that's really rare. He doesn't maintain unrealistic or even strict expectations from his students in that he's not a professor who expects "the smart questions". His students are really lucky to have him.

Wow :| I would have never guessed that he would actually be "loved"! He did manage to make the class terribly confusing in our 1st year with his added info (was it his research on fruitflies?).

My favourite professor at McMaster is Dr Stone Origins/Evolution/Bioinformatics. He's really smart, very approachable, and has a fantastic sense of humour.

I also really like Madame Helene Gallier-Morgan French 1Z06 - she was sweet, patient and oh-so-Parisian.

Nope it was his research of the Influenza Virus ... which was kinda cool cuz i knew what the experts were saying when talking about the H1N1 epidemic with the protein coats and the mutations ...

Yes, I agree ... he is quite awesome ! Never had him as a prof but went to him to inquire about the Origins program and he really came off as a very helpful and knowledgeable person.

Well I beg to differ sir ... I thought she did a very good job of explaining complex ideas with simplicity. Especially for the non-sci students, a few of whom I know ... and they agree with me as well.

Yes, she did do that. I still wouldn't call her awesome though.
