Hey all,

I think it'd be really cool to have a healthy discussion about Fraternities and Sororities at McMaster.

As a member of a greek organization and someone who is involved in clubs and societies on campus I am extremely engaged in both sides.

I think it'd be neat to get a prospective from people who might not be too familiar with the greek scene or might have limited knowledge.

With that said:

What impression(if any) have Fraternities and Sororities made on you? Is it good? Bad?

Not to generalize, but frats are just a collection of douchebags that go out and do douchey things.

There's much better ways to meeting people. The brotherhood is apparently supposed to be a support group, but they just all get together and drink. Yea, great support group you got thurrr.

If it's anything like the movies (which I know is exagerated sometimes) then all I can say is I am so glad I live in Canada where I don't have to worry about it.
