Federal Election - Which views are most like yours?
Found this on CBC.ca, approximately 30 questions will be asked and the results will point out which party has the similar views as yours. Not only that, every question that was asked, you can go through each one of them and compare your answers and parties'.
I know quite a few that voted during the last election and they are clueless about the party's platforms. They voted whoever had the name that came from their favorite movies. Yikes?
Anyways, this will help you!

LOL, exactly halfway between Liberal and Conservative. That -really- helps.
I just noticed now with the chart we have like one centre-ish right, one centre-ish left and three far-ish lefts. That's crazy.

The wording of some of the questions is odd
"The government should make it easier for a woman to get an abortion"
I'm pro-choice, but that statement sounds weird and I wouldn't feel right saying I strongly agree with it. It should say something like "The government should be less involved in a woman's choice to get an abortion" ..?
I got Liberal, which isn't surprising. It says I'm "farthest from Conservative". It's pretty obvious that CBC is planning to use the demographic questions to release as "Most women will vote for ....", "Most Torontonians will vote for..." etc. Still a fun quiz though.

My thoughts exactly. I'm pro-choice, but the wording came across very weirdly to me and it made me feel bad for saying that I agree.

Eh, left of the middle, but pretty much in the middle. I disappoint myself.
Also, those economic questions really pissed me off. They're presenting it like it's an opinion/can be debated, when that shit is hard fact...
(in relation to govt spending and deficit)

Almost dead center, with a little leaning towards social liberalism... that's about where I thought I was

Right at the edge of the left. Not really surprised by my result.

Got this. Sort of knew I was going to be around there. Plus I put "don't know" on most of the candidates, but I had a vote of non-confidence on Elizabeth May, because she's Elizabeth May.
Although Gilles as PM would be pretty ****ing awesome.

Useful tool. Should be popularized to encourage more voters.
I try not to tie myself down to a particular affiliation. I shall vote accordingly based on the immediate circumstances for the party I feel is most fit to lead. Obviously, their policies are also an important factor.
Also, not a major fan of current MP David Sweet. Supposedly very conservative. As in, "I do not believe in the theory of evolution" conservative. Would rather not have him representing me.
