1) That cheating may be wrong, but it's still kinda fun.

1- Cheaters do prosper after all, in fact many of them get the high marks.
2- Teachers will either love you or hate you, nothing in between
3- High school was so beyond easy
4- Some people never learn that there's such things as 'deadlines'
5- Never let anyone "borrow" your work

Cheating knows no boundaries, both "bad" and "good" people can cheat.

Looking back on it now, I did learn some crap...well I think I did.

1) I realized that you dont need to study for crap in highschool
2) Its always fun to laugh at those who suck up to the teacher
3) The secret to passing religion is to write "God or Jesus" in every other sentence
4) Its amazing how you cant remember how you met your best friend o.o;;
5) Having the lunch before the last period with last period as spare calls for a 12:30 finish.
6) Never say "I did your mom" to the chem teacher...
7) Taking computer science is just an excuse for playing games and getting free 100's
8) Locker is for all your school crap - Backpack is for all your food during class
9) There really is such a thing as a teachers pet/fav student
10) Joining a lot of stuff really does help you get out of class
11) Wearing a uniform does suck when its hot.
12) You learn a LOT about LIFE

--Man, 4 years I really did love.

Same, I blame it on all these entrance requirements.

I didn't do any work in high school. I copied off of the ,so-called, smart people and the teacher knew but didn't care(it helps if the teacher likes you). I failed every chemistry test and still managed to get an 81%. Like I said if the teacher likes you you'll do well no matter what. And I can finally say that Ms.Purnell is crazy!!

You can get away with anything

They say zero tolerance, but have no punishments or follow up for serious incidents....

...only for skipping assemblies.

1. All deadlines and marks are 100% negotiable if you whine enough
2. Grade 12 chemistry is the best course you will ever take
3. Never do pre-lab work or questions because your teacher will do them for you the day of the lab (and fix the mess you make because you haven't got a clue what you are doing)
4. A "study hall" (spare) is just an excuse to talk and eat more during the day
5. No matter how much you say you won't procratinate a big project, you still find yourself working at a friend's house at midnight on a sunday night before it's due and you are no where near being done
6. Being friends with your teachers will help your mark in the long run
7. Weekends are just another excuse to have a party for no reason and get drunk (yet you will come up with the most random themes for these parties to make them seem like they have a purpose when all they are is an excuse to drink)
8. Do not go to semi formal or prom completley sober, you`ll be too bored
9. Go to school the last day before exams, your teachers will give you all the answers!

I think the ones that really stick with me are:

- High School is easy. Very, very easy.
- What happens in high school doesn't matter. Real life is still at least 2-4 years away.

High school taught me:

-That student council is really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really useless. Especially when you're the only one in the whole school who cares about it.

-That even if you expect a grad award because a teacher tells you "You're getting a grad award!", you won't get one.

-That bitterness and resentment over grad awards lasts a lifetime.

-That high school is probably where I'll end up after 4 years of university and 2 years of teachers college after figuring out "maybe high school wasn't that bad after all?"

*sigh*
