1st semester earth sci prof?
i was looking on the course timetable and for first semester of earth science 2GG3, natural disaters it doesnt have the profs name but second semester does... does that mean it will be the same prof or no?

No one knows, you can call the department and ask who is teaching the course in first semester though.

Yea, your best bet is to call the SGES office. They have a big board with all the profs and what they are teaching for the year. Unfortunately for this course, they may not know until closer to the start of semester.

I'll swing by the office on monday if I can and take a look for you if you are willing to wait till monday night.

If you are worried about difficulty level between the two semesters, I would sign up for the one with Dr. Bernier for now. His courses are more predictable and straight forward.

Hopefully it's the same prof as second term, because Bernier is an AMAZING prof.
