1st Year Computer Science Electives
Are there any first year computer science electives that teach useful skills for working in a large corporation? For example sql, sharepoint, intro python or java?

CompSci 1MD3 and 1XA3 both teach Python. 1MD3 is more theoretical, while 1XA3 is a lab-based course. 1XA3 requires 1MD3 as co-requisite. Maybe 1BA3 or 1TA3 are more general overviews like what you are looking for, but I am not sure, because I haven't taken them.
While it's not a first year course, 3DB3 only requires one first-year pre-requisite (could get waived depending on your other experience) and seems to cover that kind of stuff in more detail.

1BA3 or 1TA3 aren't what you are looking for. They cover introductory computer use (word, ppt, excel, access) and aren't geared towards CS students. OP what program are you in?
