2nd year degree programs
Hi, I just wanted to ask if we don't get into a degree program in second what happens? Do we get wait listed or something? Are we allowed to re-apply in third year?

In third year, I believe you have to "reapply" through the academic advisors. It's basically like transferring into the program.

don't quote me on this, someone else confirm,

but I don't think you have to use it as one of your options, if you don't get accepted into any of your options, give them a call and they'll put you in honours life sci, they have to because you meet all the requisites and the program doesn't have a limiting number of seats.

I think if you don't get into anything you get defaulted to the three year program ((Non-Honours) Life Science). I would put it as one of my choices (or Honours Bio, one or the other), essp if you are in the 6-8.5 range, which is where the hard cut offs tend to sit.
