It depends on the school. Some will consider them as social science and some won't.

I think it depends on what the professional school considers.. some consider Psych as social science but others consider it science. I think a lot of people take Econ 1B03 and 1BB3 because those are usually considered social sciences (but I would do more research on this) and they're relatively easy courses.
