He can't explain anything, I left most classes scratching my head. There is an optional tutorial but I really really advise you to attend, they pretty much take all the garble he spews out and translates it into english.

In terms of the tests, there are two worth 45% each, which IMO is a very lazy way of grading as it doesn't allow room for improvement/development. Sometimes in class he'll provide examples to help clarify his points. One of the questions was "recall this example." Once again, that really is pointless in seeing if we understand the concepts or not. There is also a 10% article review, and as long as you do everything the TA wants you to do, you'll get the full 10%.

If you can take it in the summer with Dr. Young, I'd strongly suggest that. I had Dr. Young for theory and he is one of the best profs I've had.
2z03 with budros? he doesnt seem intimidating, at least not yet I guess. got any notes from the class you'd sell?

Yah I like dr.young a lot too, especially after a few classes of practice of taking notes from his lecture.
