No, they wont round.

Software, as in, Software Engineering? If so, go see your profs to see if any of them can perhaps bump you or look through previous tests/assignments to get a few more marks to reach that 4.0

They round to the tenth decimal place. So it'll be 3.8. You'll have to get to 3.95 in order to get rounded to 4.

Oh alright thanks! Also If i do get a 3.8 do i have to apply for reinstatement? Because from what i herd reinstatement is when you get below 3.5.

Thanks,

Just to clarity.

3.95 gets rounded to 4.0. 3.8 will stay 3.8
If you have less than 4.0 you have to apply for reinstatement back into engineering.
If you have less than 3.0 you have to apply for reinstatement back into the university.

Then if you get a 3.8, you need to reapply for reinstatement into Engineering. Engineering requires a 4.0 to stay in.
