I am considering dropping an elective this semester and either taking an easier elective next semester or taking it in summer school. My question, being in the medical radiation sciences, will the fact that I didnt complete my prerequisite until summer effect my ability to get into Level 2? or does everything have to be completed by the end of April in level 1?

If you're having difficulty with one elective now, when you have 5 classes, you probably shouldn't expect to do better with an easier elective and 6 classes. We register our choices for Level II programs before the end of Semester 2, so I'm fairly sure that if you don't have the required credits, you won't be able to continue to Level II.

Personally, I would just tough it out. Dropped it for Sem 2 would likely just screw up your Sem 2 marks, and doing it during the summer and having to wait a year to do Level II sounds like a terrible idea.

I would definitely talk to an academic advisor before doing anything you've mentioned. Is your last name Williams, by any chance?

yes my last name is williams...I actually ended up doing bad this semester because my heart was somewhere else ( at home ) ..I am going through some difficulty which is why my marks are bad enough to want to drop a course...I will take your advice and speak to a counsellor!
